i haven't used the mushrooms yet. They look good am hopeful that they will be as good as it looks when I make Japanese mushroom appetizers. I really appreciate your quick response to my questions about the other type of shitake mushrooms that are from China.

These mushrooms are great; as well as all of their other mushrooms. The qualiity is exemplary. Rehydrating is so easy. The thing I love about the dried mushrooms is that they are at peak when dried and never spoil. Have been a customer for many years. Highly recommend.

The dried Slippery Jack mushrooms look to be good quality and having cooked with them once they are. I was surprised that there was no grit at the bottom of the liquid in which I soaked them. They were tasty and a reasonable substitute for porcini in some situations.

Mushrooms always arrive looking healthy, not broken into little crumbs, and never disappoint. They are always enhancement for so many dishes, such as risotto, soups, stir fries and so many more. Hope you enjoy them as much as we do!
