About Forest Mushrooms

Forest Mushrooms is a family-owned business nestled in the woods and hills of Central Minnesota. Since our start in 1985 we have grown and distributed edible (cultivated fresh, harvested wild and dried) specialty mushrooms. We grow fresh oyster (Pleurotus) and shiitake (Lentinus) mushrooms, and offer a full line of other specialty mushrooms. Our production facilities are located near St. Joseph, Minnesota, 75 miles northwest of Minneapolis.
